This piece is an exploration of emotion through material. By combining clay and found objects on a piece of reclaimed wood, I aimed to see how texture, form, and placement can evoke feeling. The process was intuitive and experimental focused on how natural elements can carry emotional weight when shaped by hand.
Using found wood as a base grounded the work in a sense of history and place, while the clay and objects added layers of vulnerability, movement, and presence.
